Painted from my parents garden in Sharow near Ripon, this painting depicts Ripon Cathedral from over the fields. In the end I made more of the garden and landscape and less of the Cathedral but it is a rare view to see Ripon Cathedral nestled in plants and fields like this with no other building in sight.

The painting is supplied in a beautifully handpainted double frame with gold leaf, created by local Yorkshire craftsmen and women.
