Inspired by 'The Secret Garden' in Marrakesh I wanted to have fun with colour and texture in a free range way as a relief from the 'observation' and discipline of Landscape painting. A delight in pattern making, colour and design, La La Land, gives a welcome break from reality.

The painting is supplied in a beautifully handpainted double frame with gold leaf, created by local Yorkshire craftsmen and women.
