La Fleur began in the blossom garden of the Yorkshire Arboretum. The painting developed in to a study of pattern, shape and colour. Its many layers depict the joy of early English Spring.

The painting is supplied in a beautifully handpainted double frame with gold leaf, created by local Yorkshire craftsmen and women.
