There is an incredible view near my home at Huttons Ambo which overlooks the river Derwent and the distant Yorkshire Wolds. The juxtaposition of trees, fields and river, have inspired me to paint this view in many seasons and kinds of light. Its unspoilt beauty was made even more special to me when a local told me it was where the Buzzards nest.

The painting is supplied in a beautifully handpainted double frame with gold leaf, created by local Yorkshire craftsmen and women.
